Cittadellarte at the Louvre
Les portes de Cittadellarte - The doors of Cittadellarte

Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto is a laboratory created by Michelangelo Pistoletto in 1998.
It is an open structure whose goal is to put art in direct interaction with the various sectors of society: architecture, communication, education, fashion, food, politics, production and spirituality.
The installation "The doors of Cittadellarte" (conceived by Juan Esteban Sandoval and Paolo Naldini for Cittadellarte and by Michelangelo Pistoletto, in collaboration with Studio Azzurro) transports the visitors from the Louvre directly into Cittadellarte, in Biella, Italy, with some artists and employees whose work symbolically represent four key-areas of activity: sharing knowledge (education), recycling as a practice of sustainable development (production), natural architecture (habitat) and locally produced and consumed food (nourishment).
